A book club in Ikeja that never asks you to finish the book.
Most book clubs on the mainland ask for a shared title, a deadline and an opinion. Silent Book Club Mainland asks for none of it. We meet once a month at Atrium, Plot 18, Block 1a, Agoro Street, Omole Phase 1, Ikeja, Lagos, read quietly together for an hour, then talk about whatever we are reading.
It is free, it is open to anyone, and the next date is below. Bring a book and turn up.

Why this one
What makes it different from other Lagos book clubs
No assigned book
Bring whatever you are already reading. Novel, thriller, textbook, half-finished memoir from 2021. Nobody checks.
No cost to attend
The hangout is free. You pay for whatever you order at the venue and nothing else.
No performance
One hour of proper silent reading, then open talk. If you would rather listen than speak, that is a full and valid way to attend.
On your side of the city
Omole Phase 1, Ikeja. No island trip, no bridge, no leaving home at 10am for a 12pm start.
